Colette is a fully qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner, working full-time within the Ayurvedic field since 2010.
Originally from the West Coast of sunny South Africa, she moved to London in 2004 to realise her dream of studying Ayurveda.
After being awarded a first class honours degree in Ayurveda from Mayur University, she embarked on a 6 month internship in India where she stayed and studied at Ayurvedic hospitals in Moodbidri, Karnataka and Thaliparamba, Kerala.
After returning from India, her interest in the healing aspect of foods led her to complete (with Distinction) an MSc in Clinical Nutrition at Roehampton University – a degree which included research on the Ayurvedic diet within the Western context.
Experience
Colette has been running her own busy practice in Wimbledon, South London, since 2015, where she provides Ayurvedic consultations, detox programmes, herbal remedies and Ayurvedic therapeutic body treatments.
She also lectures on Ayurvedic theory and practice.
Since 2015 Colette has served as an executive committee member of the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association (APA), the UK's leading professional body for Ayurveda.
She was the Spa Manager and a lecturer at the award-winning Ayurveda Pura Health Spa & Academy for over 3 years.
She has won the Good Spa Guide’s national 'Most Marvellous Massage' award.
